September 29th, 2017: [ October 4, 2017; 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. ] CELEBRATE: Let’s raise a toast afterwards to the downfall of coal export! On Sept. 26, the State of Washington rejected the Millennium coal export terminal, which would have sent eight full coal trains through the Gorge every day. Many local voices, including the Columbia Gorge Climate Action Network, played a key role in stopping coal trains. Come celebrate with friends on 10/4 in Hood River!

October 13th, 2017: [ October 13, 2017; October 14, 2017; October 15, 2017; October 16, 2017; October 17, 2017; October 25, 2017; 12:00 am; ] “Kwel’Hoy, We Draw the Line!” Totem Pole Journey 2017: 10/13 Vancouver, BC; 10/14 Seattle, WA; 10/15 Tacoma, WA; 10/16 Vancouver, WA; 10/17 Portland, OR; and 10/25 Pittsburgh, PA. The Lummi Nation will travel across the western United States and Canada with a totem pole to bring attention to proposed fossil fuel terminals, pipelines, and other facilities and the threats they pose to the air, water, and safety of their communities and the way of life of Native peoples.
