Join Us to Support New Vancouver Port Commissioner Don Orange!

On Thursday, December 28, Don Orange will be officially sworn in as a commissioner for the Port of Vancouver. Orange won his seat in a landslide election, defeating his oil industry-backed opponent by a whopping 30-point margin. The new Port of Vancouver Commission, comprised of Don Orange, Eric LaBrant, and Jerry Oliver, is expected to take up the issue of its lease for the Tesoro Savage oil train terminal in 2018, according to the Vancouver Columbian.

The Port’s first 2018 meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 9 at 9:30 AM.

Let’s be there to support Don by attending his swearing ceremony and his first meeting as Port Commissioner. We will be there–wearing orange – at both events!
