Coal export is threatening our region's health, climate and livability. There is no doubt that Governor Kitzhaber has the authority to oppose Ambre Energy's Morrow Pacific coal export project. We've been reminding him daily. Here are a few ways that we're ensuring this issue never falls far from his radar and how you can help out:
1. We're calling Governor Kitzhaber's Citizen Representative hotline at 503-378-4582. It takes less than one minute to tell the Governor's staff that you oppose coal export.

2. Search ‘John Kitzhaber’ and ‘like’ his page
3. Save the above image to your computer
4. Post the image on his ‘wall’ along with a few words about why you oppose coal export
5. ‘Share’ the image with your ‘friends’ and ask them to follow your lead in to keep dirty coal export out of Oregon!
3. We're placing yard signs on high traffic streets across Portland! Join us on Sunday, November 17 from noon-4 for a yard sign canvass. Details on our calendar
4. We've floated banners on the Willamette River during peak traffic hours. This action was reported on by two news channels and seen by tens of thousands of commuters.
5. Have you seen this billboard? It's up in Portland at the intersection of SE 11th and Hawthorne.
