Join us on March 13th.

Join Columbia Riverkeeper and the Power Past Coal Coalition as we amplify the voices of concerned citizens from across the Northwest on Governor Kitzhaber’s front steps. Oregon state agencies are currently reviewing permits for Ambre Energy’s coal export plan. The Oregon Department of State Lands has set April 1, 2013 as a decision date for their agency – they need to hear from us now!

WHO: Gorge residents opposed to coal export
WHAT: Rally to Sound the Alarm against coal export
WHEN: Wednesday, March 13, 2013 (noon-1PM)
WHERE: Start at Riverside Community Church (4th & State St, Hood River). End at Overlook Memorial Park.
BRING (optional): Bells and noisemakers to sound the alarm, signs, and your lunch.
