Columbia Riverkeeper hosted “Driven to Extinction: Tire Chemicals and Salmon,” a webinar with Sean Dixon and Dr. Jenifer McIntyre. They shared their research and work on 6PPD-q and the impacts of polluted stormwater runoff on Pacific salmon and other aquatic organisms.
Here are three ways to get involved:
- LEARN: Our website answers frequently asked questions about 6PPD-q and the impacts to salmon and other species (English Version, Spanish Version).
- SHARE: Know a student who would be interested in this? Check out and share our Pollution Prevention Curriculum with information and hands-on activities about the impacts of stormwater runoff and other pollution issues on the Columbia River.
- SUPPORT: Columbia Riverkeeper is committed to reducing toxic pollution and fighting for clean water. If you are able, please donate today to Columbia Riverkeeper to support this important work
